INDIANAPOLIS — There will be an Artist Workshop for artists interested in taking part in Indy Art & Seek, an initiative of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and the Arts Council of Indianapolis that will create arts “interventions” in various neighborhoods. The workshop will be held Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the IMPL East 38th St. branch, 5420 E. 38th St.
Visual artists, poets, musicians, and dancers are encouraged to attend to find out more about the project, see examples of the “interventions” and to get tips on how to apply. Artists selected will be paid $1,000 for each intervention they create.
The workshop includes a light dinner. Complete the artist invitation and application on the Arts Council of Indianapolis Web site, www.indyarts.org
