From The Indianapolis News, Monday, November 19: A moving picture film showing the work being done by the Mothers’ Aid Society of Indianapolis among the destitute widowed mothers and children of the city is being shown at the Circle Theater. The film shows the constructive helpfulness of the work being done by the society and at the same time lets the public know how its donations are being used by the society. The film’s showing coincides with the opening of the Mothers’ Aid campaign to raise $50,000 (2016: $952,990) for impoverished widowed mothers and their children in Indianapolis. “This is a campaign by women for women,” said Henrietta Ellinwood, president of the society. About 1,000 women are expected to help in the campaign. Keith’s Theater will show the film later in the week as a part of its scheduled presentations.
