GREENFIELD — Lynette K. Waters-Whitesell is a Midwestern artist working in mixed media on both canvas and panel. Inspired by ephemera and old photos of yesteryear, which she experiments with as digital transfers.
Lynette begins her under-paintings on the computer with Photoshop manipulations which she prints to digital transfers and adheres to either panel or canvas. Once the transfer is adhered, she incorporates layers of acrylic paint, and occasionally text and/or ephemera.
Her work will be featured at the Greenfield Banking Company’s Art Gallery, on the second floor of the main office at 1920 N. State Street in Greenfield. The public is invited to come see her work during normal business hours: M – Thurs. 9 – 5; Fri, 9 – 6; Sat. 9 – Noon.
