INDIANAPOLIS — On April 4 at the Kennedy King Memorial, 1702 N. Broadway, there will be a ceremony celebrating and honoring Robert Kennedy’s stirring speech to citizens. April 4 marks the 47 years when Kennedy announced the death of Martin Luther King, Jr. to a crowd gathered at the park.
The Kennedy King Memorial Initiative will hold a ceremony celebrating emerging new voices and honor the continuing work of building a strong and resilient community.
The program begins at noon. A brief reception open to all will follow.
In case of rain, the event will take place at School 27, which is adjacent to the park.
