GREENFIELD — Greenfield Banking Company’s Art Gallery will feature the artwork of art students from Mt. Vernon High School during July and August.
The Mt. Vernon High School art department art teachers, Jessica Evans and Trista Hurst, offers a variety of art classes throughout the year. Hundreds of students sign up to take elective art classes that include Intro to 2-d and 3-d Art, Drawing, Painting, Ceramics, Photography, AP Studio and Art History.
The work featured in the exhibit shows a wide range of mediums and explorations of composition, rendering, and creativity. These works are products of each student’s interpretation and solution to the wide range of projects they are assigned in the classroom.
The Art Gallery, located on the second floor of the Main Office, 1920 North State St., Greenfield is open to the public during normal business hours: Mon. – Thurs., 9 – 5; Fri, 9 – 6; Sat 9 – noon.
