There are also lots of classic, fiction, Irvington and Indiana (about and by Hoosiers) available for sale. The annual book sale is an east side tradition, and proceeds go to provide maintenance on the historic home. Started many years ago by community members, the popularity of the sale has soared and attracts book hounds from all over1.
