IRVINGON — The Black Hat Society of Historic Irvington will hold The Freakness Stakes on Sunday, May 17 from 3-6 p.m. at 203 S. Good Ave. in Irvington.
This fundraising event is a Derby-style event with entertainment by the Dancing Witches, live music by DysFUNKtion Brass, games, a kid’s one, silent auction and a race. Snacks and non-alcholic beverages are included with entry. There will be a paid bar with wine and Big Lug Brewery. There will be best hat contest.
Ticket sales and proceeds will go to benefit Indy Neighborhood Cats, a local nonprofit that hels stabilize and care for more than 12,000 free-roaming and at-risk cats.
