INDIANAPOLIS — Stufferage: Tales of the Overwhelmed will embark on a a two-week limited run May 23 to June 1.
Told through the lens of a support group called “A Place to Start,” the story follows a colorful cast of characters confronting the physical and emotional costs of hoarding.
The play opens with a bang — and a locked door — as Georgia, a 62-year-old retired psychologist, stands outside her late sister’s hoarded home, desperate to go to the bathroom and determined to break the silence. What follows is a whip-smart, cathartic, and often laugh-out-loud journey through grief, guilt, and baggage.
Tickets are $28 for adults, $23 for seniors. Visit indydistricttheatre.vbotickets.com/events for show times and dates and to order tickets. The District Theatre is located at 627 Mass Ave.
