INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Encore, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources, social connections, and opportunities for active individuals aged 50, has launched a new Web site, www.IndyEncore.org
Thanks to advancements in healthcare and lifestyle, today’s 65-year-olds can look forward to enjoying an additional 20 to 30 years of vibrant living compared to previous generations. With this “longevity dividend,” many individuals find themselves at a crossroads, seeking ways to stay engaged, share their skills, and contribute to the greater good.
In Central Indiana, individuals over 50 now make up 26% of the population. Indy Encore recognizes the immense potential of this rapidly growing demographic and is dedicated to empowering older adults.
Indy Encore is a resource hub providing information tailored for individuals aged 50 and older. They offer opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals. There are various engagement options including volunteer opportunities, work, or entrepreneurship.
