Coburn Place Hosts Lemonade and Spiked Lemonade Stands

INDIANAPOLIS — Coburn Place’s popular Lemonade Stand fundraiser raises money so the children in the program start the school year with brand-new shoes, socks, clothes and uniforms. Proceeds from the Lemonade Stand also set them up for success, helping with art and school supplies, activities, prom dresses, cleats, field trip fees, movie passes for good grades, and much more. This year’s goal is $25,000.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, visit a stand at one of three public locations for a glass of ice-cold lemonade to support the children of domestic violence survivors. The Lemonade Stands will be at Coburn Place at 604 E. 38th St., Christ Church Cathedral on Monument Circle, and Charles Schwab at 8332 Woodfield Crossing Lane. The Virtual Lemonade Stand is taking donations from now through July 19 at www.coburnplace.org/lemons.
In conjunction with the Lemonade Stand, Delta Faucet is presenting a Spiked Lemonade Stand on Friday, July 19, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Hotel Tango in Fletcher Place, 702 Virginia Ave., Indianapolis. Money raised goes directly to support Coburn Place’s Children’s Services program. Coburn Place receives 20% of the bar sales for this event featuring specialty lemonade-inspired cocktails and mocktails, light bites, live music by local artist Kelli Ray Yates, a jewelry sale by Pamela Clark Originals, an Art Jam, a pick-your-own bouquet flower bar, a 50/50 cash raffle and more!
