INDIANAPOLIS — Now in its 22nd year, Independent Music + Art Festival (IMAF) is rebranding to Bloombox Festival, a day-long outdoor free festival featuring local musicians, visual artists, and other creatives in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.
This annual event draws a crowd of around 5,000 attendees and honors local musicians and artists who perform original live music and create original work. It provides a unique opportunity for interaction with other local artists and the community. Ten bands are featured on two stages in the exterior courtyard of the Harrison Center, 1505 N. Delaware, in conjunction with the INDIEana Handicraft Exchange, a DIY contemporary craft fair featuring handmade goods ranging from plush toys to bath and body products, from screen-printed rock ‘n’ roll poster art to custom vintage-inspired western wear, from fanciful undergarments to wooden jewelry.
Bloombox 2023 is a free festival on Saturday, June 17th, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
