The long abandoned house at the corner of Linwood and Michigan St. was torn down last week. In its place, Linwood Christian Church (4424 E. Michigan St.) will be expanding its handicapped accessibility entrance and ramp. Plans are also under development for landscaping to improve the corner’s appearance. The congregation believes that its ministry within the neighborhood will be enhanced by increased accessibility, and hopes that its neighbors will enjoy the property’s improved looks.
