IRVINGTON — The Irvington Halloween Festival poster contest is now open. The poster contest is a long-standing tradition in Irvington, and is open to all artists, not just in Irvington. First prize is $500 in cash and bragging rights.
Entries must include the information 76th Historic Irvington Halloween Festival October 22nd-29th, 2022 in the design. Images must be between 18”x24” and 24”x36” and on an acid-free mat board or canvas. Entry fee is $25 per submission.
Contest entrants must be at least 14 years of age. Entrants under 18 must have a parent or guardian co-sign the entry form. Entries can be of paintings, drawings or illustrations. All winning designs must be reproducible for posters or t-shirts. Entries must be made online and posters delivered to the Irvington Library, 5534 E. Washington St. between Monday, July 11 and Friday, July 22.
