IRVINGTON — The Indiana Plein Air Painters Association will host this year’s Irvington Paint Out on Saturday, May 7 from 9:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. at the Bona Thompson Memorial Center, 5350 E. University Ave.
Participating artists will meet at 9 a.m. in the front yard of the center for distribution of the Irvington map, which includes historical landmarks. If it is raining, the artists will meet in the lobby. Afterwards, artists will set up outside at various locations and begin painting. At 3:30 p.m., artists will return to the Bona Thompson for an informal wet painting show and sale. If it is raining, it will be set up inside, but will take place on the lawn if the weather holds. The wet painting show is free and open to the public. The event ends at 4:30 p.m.
