Beastside Brewfest April 30

IRVINGTON — Time is running out to get your Beastside Brewfest tickets in advance. On Saturday, April 30 at 7 p.m., lots of great local brewers, a cidery and a meadery, plus a food truck will be at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lyons Hall, 30 S. Downey Ave. Black Acre, Bier, St. Joseph, Garfield, Daredevil, Fountain Square, Sun King, 18th Street, and Rhinegeist will be on hand with their brews, and Ash & Elm Cider, and New Day Craft Meads will be offering their adult beverages for the cider or mead curious. Food trucks Porkopolis and Chef Steve’s Wild Dogs will be available on the grounds.
The Beastside Brewfest is a great opportunity to try new beers and styles from some of the best brewers around, get together with friends, and perhaps find a new favorite beverage. Professional judges, as well as the audience, will sample offerings from the breweries and determine who gets the coveted Beastside Trophy and bragging rights for the year!
The event is sponsored by the Brewers of Indiana Guild and Drink Indiana Beer, and organized by the Irvington Community Council as it marks six months to the 76th Annual Halloween Festival. Proceeds from the event will help support the costs renovation of the Irvington United Methodist Church Community Playground on North Audubon.
Admission includes unlimited samples and a commemorative pint glass for $5 pint purchases. Entertainment will be by Six Foot Blonde. Professional judges will bestow the coveted Beast on the winning beverage! Tickets are $30 at the door, $35 at the door if it is not sold out. Designated driver tickets are $10 at the door.
