INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Department of Public Works (Indy DPW) invites residents to join Mayor Joe Hogsett for the 11th annual Polar Bear Pedal on Saturday, Jan. 29. The 8-mile long route will take riders between Downtown Indy and the Brookside Park area.
With traffic control and accompaniment from IMPD, this year’s approximately hour-long ride will route cyclists to and from the City Market via local streets and past notable city landmarks such as the Bottleworks District and Brookside Park.
Visit the Indianapolis City Market Facebook page and register online, or register the day-of at 9 a.m. at City Market, 242 E. Market St. The ride starts at 10 a.m. The event is free.
