INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Historic Preservation Commission (IHPC), in partnership with Indiana Landmarks, is accepting applications for a Roof Stabilization Program that assists qualifying homeowners with roof repair and/or replacement if their home is within an IHPC designated historic area.
To be eligible, the home must be a single family dwelling in a historically-designated neighborhood: Chatham Arch, Fletcher Place, Herron-Morton Place, Woodruff Place, Lockerbie Square, Old Northside, St. Joseph, Ransom Place, Cottage Home, Irvington, Cumberland, and New Augusta. The homeowners combined income cannot exceed 80% of Federal HUD guidelines, and provide proof of income and insurance on the property.
