INDIANAPOLIS — The Eastside Creation Care Network (ECCN), a growing group of eastside faith communities, has three events planned to highlight care for the earth and energy reduction. “Creation Celtica” a concert of Traditional Irish and Neo-Celtic Music with T. Wyatt Watkins and Friends, will be held Oct. 20 at 4 p.m., St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 8320 E. 16th St.. The concert is a benefit for Indianapolis Eastside Creation Care Network and Hoosier Interfaith Power & Light. There Is no charge to attend the concert, but there will be an opportunity to make a donation.
The ECCN continues their Fall Film Series on Friday, Oct. 18, 7 p.m. with a free viewing of “Blue Gold: World Water Wars” at Emerson Avenue Baptist Church, 306 N. Emerson Ave. This powerful film examines the growing battle over control of the global water supply. “Buyer Be Fair” a film about world trade will be shown Friday, Nov. 15, 7 p.m., St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. Learn about the issues involved with product certification and making free trade “fair.” This is a timely film with a direct tie-in to Christmas shopping.
