INDIANAPOLIS — Help celebrate 50 years of the John Boner Neighborhood Centers on Saturday, October 23 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Intermissions Plaza, 3145 E. 10th St. The laid-back, family-friendly event will include food from Chuck’s Coney Island (with retro pricing), live music, and a variety of family-friendly activities (from tie-dye to pet rocks and Love Beads), all with a ‘70s twist at Intermissions Plaza, a new space between 10 East Arts HUB & Rivoli Theatre.
Music will be provided by the Tim Brickley Duo from 4:00-5:30 p.m and Staci McCrakkin and her band from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Kids Dance Outreach will perform from 5:45-6:15 p.m.
The John Boner Neighborhood Center provides programs for adults in financial literacy and career coaching, youth programs including after school and summer camps, housing and rental assistance, senior programs, and community development resources for the near east side.
