INDIANAPOLIS — The City of Indianapolis and the Arts Council have launched #IndyKeepsCreating, a series that will engage artists and arts and culture partners with funds for projects in public spaces. The goal is to support the revitalization of spaces throughout the city.
The series kicks off Sunday, Oct. 10 with Downtown Indy’s Fall Arts Market from 2-6 p.m. on Monument Circle. The event features artists, live music, food and drink. Admission is free.
With $500,000 made possible through the American Rescue Plan, Marion County artists and organizations can apply for funds through three organizations for funds to support community projects, festivals, music internships and performances, and public literary works. Organizations that will vet applications inclue the Arts Council of Indianapolis, GANGGANG, and Big Car Collaborative. Deadlines vary.
