INDIANAPOLIS — The Garfield Park Arts Center presents its 3rd annual Color Exhibition, featuring the color green. Green is a cool color that often symbolizes nature and the environment, including feelings of refreshment, renewal, peace, calm, health, growth, balance, and harmony. However, it can also signify luck or envy. Artists are welcome to submit their work containing various shades, tones, and meanings of green for consideration to be featured in the exhibit.
Any artists with work that fits the theme of this exhibition are encouraged to apply. Please see requirements and guidelines online at gpacarts.org/submit. Artists can submit their artwork and supplemental information to GPAC@Indy.gov. Deadline to submit is by end-of-day on May 17. Artists will be notified shortly after the deadline. Artwork drop off will be May 28 – May 29, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. both days.
