INDIANAPOLIS — South East Neighborhood Development (SEND) is currently working on a “Memory Keepers Project” that will archive and exhibit the history and stories of the area in virtual, auditory, and visual form. Neighbors who have lived, worked, and/or played in the TANC neighborhoods can participate in this project in a variety of ways, but most importantly, by sharing artifacts, stories, and other history of the area before it is lost to time. There will be a parallel art exhibit featuring portraits of neighbors, as well as an online archive where the stories, artifacts, and interviews will be stored.
