Painting will be completed by late November.
• The Dancing Witches of Irvington struck again on Saturday, Oct. 10 with a performance on Irving Circle to the delight of many in the area. In Irvington, seeing a dozen or so ladies dressed as witches strolling down the street isn’t unusual in October. They had a great time — the weather was cooperative and everyone appreciated the positive witchy energy.

• Leaf Season is Nov. 9 to Dec. 4 this year. You can put 40 bags out each week during that time frame but please do not use paper bags, as they fall apart in the rain. Also please place them on the opposite side of your driveway than where you put your trash container, or a distance away from your trash pickup spot.. A different truck picks up the leaves than the one that picks up the trash and they pick them up at a different times. Please don’t set them on the curb right now, as the wind will get at them and push them into the street. Better yet, mulch them into your yard.
• A friendly reminder to people moving or needing packing materials or kitty litter liners. Please DON’T TAKE THE CURRENT WEEKLY VIEWS out of the boxes. We have returns and old papers available in boxes outside the office, 195 N. Shortridge Rd., Suite D. We also have added a “leftover” box at the stop on E. 10th in front of Teacher’s Treasures.
