Colts Shoot Down Jets

The Colts had their way with the number #32 ranked New York Jets last Sunday. The Horseshoe defense in particular whipped tail on the hapless Jet offense. Three interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns and DeForest Buckner scoring a safety helped to make Jet QB Sam Darnold miserable. Xavier Rhodes seemed to take the game personally as he accounted for two of the interceptions and shut down his side of the field. The Jet run game went nowhere as well.
Offensively  Philip Rivers threw his 400th TD pass and went for over 60,000 passing yards in the game. Jonathan Taylor scored his second career touchdown on a five yard run. Taylor has 182 yards on 48 carries and 2 touchdowns. Four year vet Moe Alli Cox is quietly making a case for Pro Bowl honors at tight end, by grabbing his first touchdown pass of the year and becoming Rivers’ go to guy. He has 10 receptions for 181 yards and a touchdown.
The Bears are next on the schedule this coming Sunday at Chicago. The Bears are 3-0 and not to be taken lightly.
Congratulations to the Miami Heat and the LA Lakers for making the NBA finals. Should be a great series.

IndyCar Back at MSA Road Course

This coming weekend Scott Dixon, Josef Newgarden and the rest of the usual suspects will be back at IMS for the Harvest GP. Dixon almost has the 2020 title in the bag and another win would seal it for the New Zealander. Newgarden has an outside chance to overtake Dixon and a win would keep him in contention. So good luck and safe racing to all the drivers.
