Mt. Vernon Middle School and Mt. Comfort Elementary School Student Councils recently came together to fundraise and host a “Million Meals Movement,” packing more than 12,000 meals for those in need. The meals that were packed will be distributed to Muncie food pantries.
Despite producing millions of pounds of soybeans, corn, and other foodstuffs, Indiana is one of the most food-insecure states in the country.
