INDIANAPOLIS — The Indy Public Safety Foundation announce that applications are now being accepted for the 9th class of the Public Safety Citizens Academy (PSCA). The PSCA is a free, 11-week program that gives community members a behind-the-scenes look at Indy’s public safety agencies — IMPD, IFD, IEMS and more. The goal is to build relationships and increase engagement between first responders and the community members they serve.
In addition to the 11 weeks of class sessions at public safety facilities around Indy, participants are invited to attend an orientation and graduation. The 9th class will be run every Thursday from 6:30-9:30 p.m. from Aug. 23 to Nov. 8. Participants should be able to attend all classes.
Visit www.surveymonkey.com/r/PSCA9! to register. Class size is limited and classes fill quickly.
