Much Ado About Nothing Begins Run June 7

INDIANAPOLIS — EclecticPond Theatre Company, founded in 2010, presents the final show of their second season, William Shakespeare’s classic Much Ado About Nothing. One battle is over and another is about to begin…the Battle of the Sexes! This production, led by director Polly Heinkel, Adjunct Professor at Miami University, places Shakespeare’s classic tale of wit, romance and unlikely love in the Roaring Twenties. The cast includes Lisa Anderson, Franklie Bolda, Sarah Holland Froehlke, Jeremy Grimmer, Janice Hibbard, Kate Homan, David Marlowe, Meagan Matlock, Zack Neiditch, Elysia Rohn, Ben Schuetz, and Zack Stonerock.
Suitable for audiences of all ages, the show starts at 7:30 p.m. on June 7th. Performance days are June 7, 8, 14, 15, 16, 21, and 22. There is also a special matinee performance on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16th at 5:30 pm. Performances are at the Irvington Lodge, 5515 E. Washington St.
While creating entertainment for the community, EclecticPond’s primary goal is to provide students and educators with engaging performances, workshops, and materials to bring texts to life. Educators are especially invited to matinee performances that will include post-show discussion from the cast and crew.
