INDIANAPOLIS — St. Vincent de Paul will hold an Easter Egg 5K Walk/Run ton Holy Saturday, March 31. The 5K will start from Tow Yard Brewery 501 S. Madison Ave. at 10 a.m. and wind through the near south part of Indianapolis on a level course. The organization is hoping the Easter Egg 5K will become their signature event in the community, drawing thousands of walkers and runners from the area and beyond.
All are welcome — students, families, children in strollers, neighbors, co-workers, serious and not so serious walkers and runners, runners in training for the mini marathon. St. Vincent de Paul is looking for participants, volunteers and sponsors. They will need 100 volunteers to help at water stations, start and finish line, hiding eggs and a host of other fun duties.
