On a crisp, sunny morning, students from Shortridge High School marched quietly around the track, seeking answers and action on the issue of gun violence in schools. Some carried signs with the names of other students killed in Parkland, Florida earlier this year, and other school shootings. Other IPS schools in the area also participated in the national event, which took place at over 3,000 campuses.
