INDIANAPOLIS — On Sunday, May 5, the Tech Music Department, friends, and students will gather to celebrate the retirement of longtime Tech music teacher, Kandy Brown. Kandy has taught for 34 years and been at Tech most of the years, beginning her career in education in 1973. She earned her teaching degree at what was then Indiana Central College.
The Techoir Spring Concert will begin in the Anderson Auditorium at 3:00 p.m., and afterward, there will be a gathering in the cafeteria where the partying will begin from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The above photo is from the Techoir’s recent trip to Disney World, which was a highlight event for her and her students to wrap up a glorious career.
Tech grads are encouraged to attend to share memories of Kandy. For more information, call Beth (317-796-7743) or Cindy (317-627-9567).
