Howe High School Boys Basketball made the record books on March 19, winning their first semi-state against Providence 70-62, ushering their way to the State Championship. It’s the first time in the school’s history that they have gone to State.
The team was greeted in Richmond by many Howe fans and alumni, who drove to see the game. This year, the Hornets have worked very hard under coach Mosi Barnes, and their efforts have paid off.
On March 26, the Hornets will take on Lapel at about 12:45 p.m. at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, 125 S. Pennsylvania. Tickets are available at the Howe box office for $15 or on the Indiana High School Athletics Association Web site at www.ihsaa.net/
All four state championship games will air live on Fox Sports Indiana.
