INDIANAPOLIS — Solace House Collective, an Indianapolis 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was created to address an often-overlooked form of housing instability affecting adult women who may not qualify for traditional emergency shelter but still need safe and stable housing. These are women navigating displacement, financial hardship, controlling relationships, or major life transitions — women who are capable and determined, but who need a stable foundation to move forward. Solace House Collective was formed in July 2026.
By providing furnished private bedrooms within respectful, women-only shared residences, Solace House gives women the stability they need to focus on rebuilding their lives and moving toward long-term independence.
Solace has two furnished shared homes in Indianapolis with private bedrooms for single adult women without dependent children. Monthly residency fees are $575–$800 with utilities and Wi-Fi included. There are 6- or 12-month residency agreements; applicants must have stable, verifiable recurring income and complete the intake and screening process.
They are asking neighbors to help in two ways: share our contact information with an eligible woman seeking housing, or help furnish and stock the homes through our Amazon Wish List. Items include bedding, kitchen supplies, and everyday household essentials. Visit https://solacehousecollective.com/ to find out more about the new organization, or to donate to the cause.
