INDIANAPOLIS — The Mass Ave Summerfest is the fourth annual celebration of the Mass Ave Cultural Arts District, bringing together local businesses, artists, performers, families, and visitors for a vibrant, high-impact day of community connection. This year, it will take place in the 600 block of Mass Ave. on Saturday, July 18 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
At 10 a.m., the Sidewalk Sale opens, and customers are invited to hop on the free shuttle to explore the shops on Mass Ave. The Block Party opens at 11 a.m., with a DJ at 646 Mass Ave. Bring your own lawn chair. Browse the artists and maker vendors. The “Paws on Parade” Dog Fashion Show starts at 11:30 a.m., with prizes donated by Three Dog Bakery
At noon, a line-up of local musicians will start the music. There will be a beer & wine garden, ice cream, and more. Local restaurants are open too. There will be a Mass Ave Kid Zone for the youngsters.
The block will be closed to through traffic until 6 p.m.
