INDIANAPOLIS — Mayor Hogsett recently joined Indy Parks to break ground on improvements to Sahm Park and highlight Indy Parks’ upcoming construction across the city.
Located on the city’s northeast side, Sahm Park features soccer fields, tennis and basketball courts, an aquatic center, a golf course, volleyball courts, a playground, and more. The $2.7 million project will build a new playground, shelter, pickleball courts, and renovate the existing tennis pavilion and restroom facility.
Over 40 Indy Parks are currently under or pending the start of construction as part of an investment of over $150 million to upgrade city parks. The timelines of these projects can be found on the Indy Parks Web site. Those investments are part of a multi year effort to upgrade over 40% of the city’s 218 parks.
Sahm Park is located at 6801 E 91st St.
