INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Public Library invites the community to Meet an Author, Be an Author. This event is the perfect opportunity for readers to discover new books written by locals and for writers to connect, learn, and grow.
The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Central Library, 40 E. St. Clair St.
Attendees will be able to meet nearly 50 local authors and shop their latest works at the Local Author Book Fair (11 a.m. – 2 p.m.). They can also attend free writing workshops covering topics like publishing, marketing, and creative wellness. They will also have a chance to network with published authors, aspiring writers, and fellow book lovers.
The Library will also host writing workshops at many branch locations throughout the city. Visit indypl.org for a full schedule of workshops.
