INDIANAPOLIS — Since its founding in 1984, the Circle City Classic has evolved into a powerful showcase of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), academic achievement, culture, and community pride.
Each year, nearly 100,000 spectators gather in downtown Indianapolis for a week of impactful and inspiring events. At the heart of the celebration is the HBCU football matchup, held at Lucas Oil Stadium, which features not only fierce on-field rivalries but also the iconic pageantry of halftime shows and marching bands that energize fans and alumni from across the country.
The Circle City Classic Coronation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 1 p.m. at Broad Ripple High School Auditorium (1115 Broad Ripple Ave.). Tickets are $20 each (Children ages 5+ require a ticket). Tickets are non-refundable.
Circle City Classic Talent Day (Career Fair) will be held Friday, Sept. 26 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Lucas Oil Stadium, East Lounge. Admission is free.
The Circle City Classic Parade will be held Saturday, Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. – noon. The parade is free and the route will be available online soon.
Circle City Classic Education Day and College Fair will be on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium. Admission is included with Circle City Classic Ticket.
The Circle City Classic Football Game kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Tickets range in price from $20-$50.
