INDIANAPOLIS — Indy’s Parvo Prevention Project will host a free Parvo vaccination clinic Saturday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at LifeJourney Church, 2950 E. 55th Place in Indianapolis.
The event, sponsored by LDR Rescue with vaccinations provided by Petco Love, will vaccinate dogs against distemper, hepatitis, Parvovirus and parainfluenza (DHPP).
In addition to the vaccinations, dogs will receive microchips to help any veterinarian locate owners should the pet become lost or injured. Also on hand will be ministerial staff from the church to provide blessings for the dogs and their families.
Dog owners will be able to drive through the clinic, similar to how many people received vaccinations during the COVID outbreak. Other vaccinations will be included in the injection, and owners will receive guidance on any recommended immunization follow-ups.
