• The Marion County Fair will be held Friday, June 28 through Sunday, July 7. This looks like it will be a great year for the fair, and there will be a ceremony on June 28 to name the Coliseum after Indiana Senator Jack Sandlin. Tickets are $6 in advance on the Web site, marioncountyfair.com. Parking is $5 on Fisher Rd., or $10 for premier parking at Gate 1 on Troy. Fireworks will be on opening night at 9:30 p.m. The fairgrounds are located at 7300 E. Troy Rd.
• The Eskenazi Mental Health Caring Recovery Opioid Treatment Program has opened its new facility, located at 3419 E. English Ave. Services available at the new facility include medication for opioid use disorder, individual and group therapy, and much more. Visit EskenaziHealth.edu/mental-health/addiction-services for more information. They are able to take walk-in clients Monday-Friday from 8-11 a.m.
• The Irvington Garden Club’s annual Garden Tour will be held Sunday, June 30 from 1-5 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available online at Eventbrite or at the Benton House, 312 S. Downey Ave. the day of the event. The Irvington United Methodist Strawberry Festival will also be going on, so you can finish your tour with a fresh strawberry shortcake on the north Circle.
• Indy Contra will host a special dance on Tuesday, July 2 from 7-9 p.m. at Englewood Christian Church, 57 N. Rural St. All are welcome to enjoy social dancing in a variety of styles with a special touring band and caller, Kingfisher from Boston and caller Harris Lapiroff. If you want to learn the steps, come by at 6:40 for free lessons. Admission is on a sliding scale, $5-$20 per person. Memberships to Indy Contra are available. • St. Vincent de Paul Indianapolis needs donations of clothing, household goods, linens, furniture, and more to help them help others. They also need kid’s bikes, helmets, and backpacks. They are having a Stuff-a-Truck event on Saturday, June 29 from 9-11 a.m. at Little Flower Church, 1301 Bosart. Please make sure your donations are clean and useable.

• Wanamaker will have their Old Settlers Day street fair and car show on Sunday, June 30 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Come on out and have a good time with vendors and cool cars. Wanamaker is just off Southeastern Ave. east of S. Franklin Rd.
