INDIANAPOLIS — Martin University held its 55th commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 18 in the Father Boniface Hardin Gathertorium, located at 2186 North Sherman Drive. During the ceremony, 31 graduates were honored in the fields of Criminal Justice, Addictions Counseling, and Business Administration; 16 were awarded master’s degrees in Community Psychology and Organizational Leadership.
Hoskins, a young mother who had both of her kids before the age of 18. Both were born prematurely. At the age of 32 she earned her HSE. While battling with severe health issues of her children she obtained her B.S. in Business Administration in 2023 and her M.S. in Organizational Leadership. Currently she owns and operates a truck hauling company and is in the process of writing a book while on her journey to earn her Ph D.
Ware is an avid health services advocate who aspires to service within numerous passion areas of Health Equity within the African-American community, specifically in-patient advocacy. Her passion stems from her own personal health journey within various healthcare systems around Indianapolis. This passion to transform healthcare for those who look like her motivated her educational accolades in obtaining Bachelor’s degrees in Public Health and Sociology with minors in Peace and Justice Studies and Social Work from Marian University in 2022. She recently received her Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership from Martin University.
