INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Urban Acres, an initiative of The Parks Alliance of Indianapolis and Indy Parks, will have its annual plant sale onsite May 11, 12 & 27, at 7700 E. 21st Street Sale from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Sales will be held on May 15 at OneAmerica, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be Native Plant Sale days June 1 & 2 at 9031 E 16th St, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.. This sale supports Indy Urban Acres, with 100% of proceeds supporting their mission to harvest and distribute fresh, locally grown food to those experiencing food insecurity throughout Indianapolis and Marion County.
Customers can select from a large variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers.
Through partnerships with Indy Parks and other community organizations, 100% of the produce cultivated by Indy Urban Acres is donated and distributed to those who would not have access to it otherwise. Proceeds from the annual Indy Urban Acres Plant Sale presented by V3 Companies, supports farm operations, food distribution, and educational programming for Indy Parks summer campers.
