Local Groups Awarded Neighborhood Grants

INDIANAPOLIS — The City of Indianapolis Neighborhood Grants Program is designed to support the engagement, collective action, and increased development of all neighborhoods and neighborhood-based organizations. The program provides financial resources for projects and activities that are designed to increase resident engagement, promote neighborhood action, and establish new and stronger relationships among neighbors, grassroots organizations, and other stakeholders.
Among the most recent awardees were several east side organizations, including the Brookside Neighborhood Association, CAFE (Community Alliance of the Far Eastside), Emerson Heights Community Organization, Fletcher Place Neighborhood Association, Fountain Fletcher District Association, Brightwood CDC, Spades Park Neighborhood Association, Springdale Neighborhood Association, Tuxedo Park Baptist Church, and United Northeast CDC.
