INDIANAPOLIS — Neidhammer Coffee Company was recently acquired by 91 Place Indy, a nonprofit. There will be a grand opening event on Saturday, April 15.
New hours for the coffee shop are Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and closed on Sunday.
The shop will continue to operate under the Neidhammer name, providing the same quality service, signature coffee drinks, and beloved crepes, while becoming a workforce development hub to empower youth facing homelessness, assisting them in the development of employability skills to advance in the labor market.
91 Place uses an innovative, holistic approach to disrupting generational poverty and chronic homelessness by providing early intervention for youth approaching adulthood who are experiencing housing instability. They offer transitional housing, mental health supports, and workforce development for their residents on the near-east side of Indianapolis. For more information about their programs, visit 91place.org.
Neidhammer Coffee Company is located at 2104 E. Washington St. out of a refurbished 1901 building built as an Oddfellows Lodge.
