GREENFIELD — KidsPlay Inc. will host the seventh annual Arts and Rummage fundraiser at the Hancock County Fairgrounds, 620 N. Apple St. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25. For a $1 admission fee, visitors can enjoy browsing for resale bargains, antiques, vintage items, home décor, collectibles, and homemade crafts.
Arts & Rummage puts the arts into the event with entertainment throughout the day from talented local performers including saxophonist Jerry Bell, Christmas at the Ricks winners Patrick and Alex Gawrys-Strand, musician Jesse Jones and the Hearts Ablaze Cloggers. Lunch food, snacks and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the day.
Arts & Rummage is KidsPlay’s only annual fundraiser. Money raised goes to cover costumes, set pieces and production costs. KidsPlay charges no participation fees for its theater program so children from all backgrounds can enjoy getting involved in community theater.
Booth space is still available. For more information, visit Arts & Rummage on Facebook or e-mail kidsplayinc@me.com.
