Their barn, which housed most of their supplies, burned to the ground and other buildings suffered smoke damage. In addition, the barn was home to their feral cat colony and not all the cats have been accounted for. If you would like to help them recover from this terrible fire, visit their Web site at ssasi.org or their Facebook page. They would be grateful for cash donations so they can purchase the equipment and goods they need to continue to rescue animals in our community. Their address is 1614 W. Edgewood Ave., Indianapolis IN 46217.
