INDIANAPOLIS — The City Connects initiative will infuse $7.5 million into a City Connects Technical Assistance Center online service hubs to help about 3,700 students connect with food, employment, shelter, and other resources. The project will cover students at several schools, including:
• Andrew J. Brown Academy
• Sankofa School of Success at Arlington Woods
• Fairbanks School 105
• Buck School 94
• Phalen Leadership schools
• Promise Prep
• Rooted School Indianapolis
A school in Warren Township Schools district will also be included.
Beginning in 2022, about a dozen coordinators will be hired and the hubs set up to help the students for the next three years. Funds come from pandemic federal monies.
