The Epilogue Players was formed in 1976 as an organization on a mission to provide a quality theater experience for people of all ages, with a special consideration for the inclusion of the senior members of the community. The first productions were at the Children’s Museum, and then they moved to the Command Playhouse at Fort Harrison in Lawrence. The players moved to performing in local churches until 1984, when they were able to rent space from the Hedback Community Theater, where they make their home today. Epilogue Players Theater is located at 1849 N. Alabama St.
