INDIANAPOLIS — A family holiday tradition continues at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center and it’s bigger and better than ever! The show will feature singing snowmen (over 20’ tall), a life-sized Nativity, Candyland, a giant American flag and a spectacular 240 ft. wall of lights, making it the largest synchronized show in Central Indiana. This dazzling light display will be open from 6-10 p.m., now through Jan. 2.
New this year: tickets must be purchased in advance, online at https://www.christmasnightsoflights.com/indianapolis. Tickets will be honored in two time slots: enter the show anytime between 6-8 p.m. or 8-10 p.m. Cost is $30 per carload, up to 8 people; $50 per carload, 9-15 people and $75 per carload, 16-35 people.
This family-friendly event features a 2-mile car ride through more than a million LED lights synchronized to traditional and more modern Christmas music. Visitors of all ages will be awed by the display’s RGB technology that creates larger-than-life trees, glowing snowflakes, dancing candy canes, mischievous elves, enchanting tunnels of lights, and much more. In the warmth of their own vehicle, guests tune their radio dial to a dedicated signal and sing along to the sounds of the season synchronized to holiday lights.
This immersive experience will be offered snow, rain or shine every evening, including holidays. The height of vehicles must be NO MORE than 11 ft. tall to drive through the light display. Guests should enter the Indiana State Fairgrounds at Gate 12, 1698 E. 42nd St.
