INDIANAPOLIS — Marion County Treasurer Barbara Lawrence urged taxpayers to use a variety of convenient “RemotePay” options to pay their Fall 2021 property tax bills.
The limited hard copy and virtual property tax bills will go out on or about October 8 with a due date of November 10th. Not all property owners will receive bills this cycle; only those taxpayers who have a different amount due in the Fall than originally projected will receive bills.
Taxpayers have a variety of “RemotePay” options, which are ways to pay your property tax bill rather than in-person at the Treasurer’s Office. The options include:
• Monthly or semi-annual automatic deductions
• Online payment options
• Online E-check using bank account and routing number will be free of charge from October 8 through November 10
• Paperless e-billing
• Voice pay by phone at 317-327-4829
• Pay by text
For more information or to pay online, please go to treasurer.indy.gov and click on “Pay Your Property Taxes or View Current Tax Bill.” Taxpayers can always simply mail in the payment to the Marion County Treasurer, P.O. Box 6145, Indianapolis, IN 46206-6145. Please include the parcel number on your check or money order.
While contact-free payment is urged, pay-in-person options are also available at the City County Building (200 E. Washington St., Room 1001) and at branches of the following partner banks: Fifth Third Bank, Financial Center First Credit Union, First Financial Bank, Merchants Bank of Indiana, STAR Financial Bank and Stock Yards Bank & Trust.
Taxpayers with questions regarding the property tax bill or any of the payment options can contact the Treasurer’s Office at 317-327-4444 or online at treasurer.indy.gov.
