INDIANAPOLIS – Conexus Indiana and Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana will launch a program providing paid training in advanced manufacturing and logistics. The program will serve 50 residents on the northeast side of Indianapolis. The program will provide potential workers for the Cook Medical facility under construction at East 38th St. and Sheridan. Cook Medical Group will invest $7 million to build a 40,000-square-foot manufacturing plant, creating 100 jobs for residents in an underserved community.
The Make & Move Up program will also help other companies in the growing advanced manufacturing and logistics sector fill jobs in Indianapolis and other locations in Central Indiana.
