The Irvington Historical Society’s Ice Cream Social was a big hit with everyone, with nearly perfect weather outside, and lots of great exhibits inside the Bona Thompson. The exhibit for Charlotte Halsema Ottinger Flick’s upcoming book, Madge, was wonderful, and puts Madge Oberholzter’s life in historical perspective. Many descendents of Madge’s family were on hand to see the exhibits. The book will be released Oct. 1 and is available for pre-sale online at irvingtonhistorical.info Web site.
